How to mix Greens

  • How to mix Greens

    • how to mix and paint green chart watercolour

Wherever I go, and read in books, I constantly see and hear the same lament: Why can't I mix greens properly - my greens never seem to look real in my landscapes?

This seems to be a major problem with many artists. One reason is that while it looks good in a photograph the same colour in the painting always looks garish.

The question is: Just how do we go about solving this problem?

This lesson will be mostly about the mixing and combining of colours to produce a range of greens that will look good in paintings. In the end you will have a set of charts which will serve you in all your future paintings.
