I am a complete beginner (well, I did do the Learn to Draw course a year ago). I decided I wanted to have a go at something else. Nolan talks you through the shading – in a lot of detail, and it really teaches you to be observant!! My spoon turned out to be fabulous and my friends and family were very impressed 🙂
