Thanks for your comments Val, Win and Steve. I thought Mea has a point there. So this is my third version. For me this looks more completed.I shall put both versions below so that the comparision is easier.

Gita,

Yup, looks like it's more stable now.  Incredible details.

:D So fun, Gita! I like the final color version and the original pen and ink. You are so talented and adaptable. I find I have to follow the lessons step by step for a while before I will branch out on my own.

Kathy, I think I am too impatient to wait till I finish all lessons. I shall do some parallel work.  :). Since I love to draw with these fine nibs and ink, I simply cannot resist doing some work on my own and see the results.

;D I understand Gita, I had just drawn some boxes and the little house exercise and immediately went and drew a truck I'd seen! When the passion hits....go for it!  :heeha:

I think you have a passion for scooters and trucks, Val....:-)). To tell you the truth Val, the passion is at present so strong  :yippee: :yippee: that I keep on doing this and that, sometimes ink, some pencil drawing and some water colour. I think I have to neglect my beloved acrylic now which I had been doing in the past days.
By the way I saw these gaint Smileys in one of your post. They are cool!
I went through the watercolour with pastel course. It is so interesting. I hardly can wait to use this technique!

Thank you Patricia. I am so fond of details. I could endlessly do this. But I am trying to learn to simplify.

Thank you Maria, I also find that the details of the final picture make the drawing more interesting. :smitten:
