Hi to PB friends everywhere. Its exiting to be in touch with such experienced tutors and so many wonderful artists around the globe. Its like a Christmas treat for me. I am a medical professional and spend every spare time with my colours. I have always loved to paint as long as I can remember. I wish to improve my techniques in PB in the long run. I happened to watch a you tube video of Dennis and I knew right away - this was what I was searching for.
And then I could feel the nice atmosphere in the forum and voila! Here I am!  :flowers:

Thank you for this nice welcome Val, Patricia and Win, looking forward to the new class Water color with pastel which I booked. There is sooooo much new to learn here!  :smart: :yippee:Val, its interesting that the word "caput" is used in english. Comes from the german word "kaputt". That was new to me.
Patricia, I agree its addictive  :smiley6600:

Thank you Nolan, I find PB so educative and the PB family so talented, friendly and inspiring. Since I joined PB, I am continuously  painting or drawing only with obligatory pauses.  :D.

I saw the black haired dog which you painted. Wow. I hope I can come that far some day!

Originally I wanted to improve my water colour abilities, but now I am so fascinated by so many different media which I discovered in PB, that its hard for me now to stick to one media!

you can get there too, just keep practicing - if I can paint that so can you. Just look around and you will see how our members have improved and still are improving. Sometimes they improve slowly and gradually, sometimes it seems like they are not improving for a long time, but then suddenly everything clicks into place and they improve dramatically almost overnight. The important thing is to just keep at it O0
