    Great job on the Portrait Paintings Neil. There has been a lot of talk on the internet lately about whether using any technology for outlines is cheating and I think that Val has a good point, it is only an outline and you still have to fill it. I personally, think it is wonderful to have the assistance but on some forums, the decision seems to be divided.

Neil,

It's bright and beautiful. Lovely eyes.  Mouth looks realistic.

My only criticism is that my mom would have made me go wash my neck if it looked like that.  Not sure how to make it look shadowed though, without looking dirty.

Wish I could do hands that well.

you have done a fabulous job on the course Neil :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
sorry about the printer ink ::)

Ear study - remember to carefully shade the transition from the one feature to the next inside the ear so you loose the hard edges

Hair study - you can still add a few more contrasting lines using the rigger

Full portrait - fabulous - just look at how alive those eyes are, well done. If you want to wash her neck then just give a glaze using one of the skin tones O0
