Wow, Nolan.  Bet there's a lot of techniques to learn in this one.  Looks like a must-do lesson.

Wonderful job on the elephant, Patricia! O0 O0

You know, this is the first time I saw the quote you have with your signature. If only everyone could live by that thought.

:heeha: Lovely Patricia!   :smitten: I love this elephant just as he is though darkening the shadow areas could add more depth.  O0

Nice work on the elephant, Patricia.  Yup, more darks would help it pop.

:thankyou: :thankyou: :thankyou:  Steve, Kathy and Mea for your lovely comments.

Yes, Steve, if everyone could live by those thoughts what a wonderful world it would be.

Kathy and Mea, you must know by now that I am scared of the darks, in fact, I used a darker pencil all the way through and thought that it was too dark but it didn't appear so in the photograph.  I shall go back and have another look and see.  Thanks for the suggestions because that is how we grow.

I finally got got 1/2 the video to play....only to find I should have tried the background first! Too eager I guess...  Imagine my surprise when it showed up with a completed background and the ghost of the Effe!!!    Ah well....I'll have another go soon.   Back to the Kimtau (boat)  :knuppel2:
Cheers, Val
