Hello,
I am currently enrolled in the Let's Draw class and loving it. I would like to try my hand at painting as well. I have some nice acrylic paints and brushes so it's a logical place to start. I am a PB member and also a Online Art Lessons subscriber so it seems I have plenty to choose from. I am also working though Dennis' composition course and learning ALOT!

I drew out and am going to paint myself a color wheel in acrylics but my question is where to go from there?

Is there a thorough course for acrylic painting similar to the format of Let's Draw pencil course? I'd like a class that speaks to the different methods, supplies, and how to achieve different types of effects, kind of a step by step guide like the drawing course has been is there such a course and is it on the PB or OAL website? If not what would be suggested?
Best,
DeKay

A good place to start is the free acrylic lesson
http://www.paintbasket.com/paintbaskettv/online-art-class.php?class=introduction-to-acrylic-painting-515

If you go to <Classes> <Acrylic> <Lesson Plan> you will see the suggested order for acrylic lessons.

Welcome DeKay!

Just follow the recommended plan from either PB or OAL.  Takes the guessing work out and you will be sure not to miss any instructions as lessons build on each other.

Looking forward to see your acrylic paintings.
Cheers, Annie

Ive started with the Acrylic classes, but it does not seem to me that they follow an order, I did go onto the suggested plan to look but, for example,  the introduction to Acrylics is way down the list???

we did a bunch of acrylic classes before we officially started acrylic classes, hence the weird order.

I have shuffled things around to be better O0
