Just seeing this now Mea, glad you had such a great experience! Can anyone go to see the showing? How long will it be there for? Looking forward to seeing these in person and to see your Artist status grow!!! Congratulations!!!

Thanks, Denise.

Yes, the gallery is actually the lobby of the Honolulu Country Club (near Salt Lake) and is open to the public all day every day.  Just go through the big wooden doors and it's right there. Last day is April 9.

Fun experience.

All three of us should enter next year.

Dear Mea, thanks for sharing your experience. I trust I'll be able to pop in more often.

Have been real busy with budgets and stuff. No time for painting lately. Missing it but I know I'll be able to get going again soon.

Love you all  - PB Friends.

Brilliant Mea, you look so confident and at ease in your surroundings. You are a natural for this! I see many good things coming your way.... I may have to refocus my crystal ball! (sorry Sharon  :2funny: )

Val,

Thanks for your sense of optimism.  I am really getting into it.  I joined an well-respected artists'guild and the ladies are being really supportive.  They've asked me to join their board and I have a couple projects I am working on for them regarding arranging gallery space through contacts I have.

So, yes, I need your crystal ball to multi-task!

:yippee:   I truly am thrilled for you Mea! What a lovely invitation to receive. Who knows, perhaps you'll end up as an owner/artist/curator of your own gallery one day!  :heeha:      :congrats:

Thanks, Fiona, Val, Nolan, and Annie.

Luckily, the country club is right near the airport so I brought two different friends there on different days on the way to/from the airport to see the exhibit.  They were impressed that my three pieces looked as good as the others, better than some.

On another note that I started with this topic, I delivered my commissioned piece today of the palms trees on a golf course.  It was an oil painting (8 x 10").  Got PAID!  Good feeling.

Time to buy some new paints.
