Hi guys, Yesterday in class Nolan taught us about perspective. 1 point, 2 point, and 3 point. I already knew about one and two, but the 3 point I had never used. Nolan did a good job explaining all of it, but I still could not wrap my head around that 3 point. So I headed to my computer to see if i could learn more about it. I found a good illustration on it so I thought I would share it. there is a free download on this. Also 1 and 2 point perspective is included. I know some others yesterday were having problems with this. Once I read this I understood what Nolan was saying. I guess it takes a little longer for me.  :2funny: :2funny: Hope this is all right to do.

:thankyou:  So much Nina. I had to leave the class early yesterday so missed everything. I do appreciate you letting us know about this free download for it is something that I find difficult to wrap my old head around.  Much appreciated.

If you have access, you can also listen to the lesson on perspective in the Let's Draw course.  I think it is well presented, and you can pause and backup.  It includes an exercise on 3 pts perpective.

 So much going on the other day... I missed it.  :'(   Will just have to wait to get the nuts and bolts of it!  ;D

The one I really wanted to see was the brush and w/c. I did get in but missed most of the brush explanation due to  :tickedoff: internet. (heavy sigh  :-\ )
Cheers, Val

:thankyou:  Annie for your suggestion. I did the Let's Draw Course but still find it hard to get my head around it.

Yes, Val, there have been so many live classes that I have missed due to family commitments and I wish they could be recorded for those who can't always make it. I share your frustration.

Nolan's 3 point perspective demo was great! It refreshed my memories from college on that. I miss the brush and watercolor.Well I have to be sure I schedule my free time for the next one. Thanks Dennis and Nolan for live chats! They are very informational and explained very simple.  :thankyou: :flowers:
