Ditto, JennyLynn. I have bought some books from which I'm trying to learn techniques. I'm discovering that it is trickier than it looks.

Happy New Year to you too Jennylynn. I have been missing you as I haven't seen any posts from you in a couple of weeks or so it seems.  Lovely to see you posting again and yes, I am sure that there would be a lot of people interested in coloured pencil lessons.

Jennylynn,

Good to see you back.  Gosh, it's nice to have old friends here again.

Please let us see what you've been doing even if it's not painting or drawing.

I thought one was being developed and would be ready in the fall of last year. I ended up finding another online class. I do miss Nolan's teaching style.

I have been promising CP classes for a year now, so I suppose I better get cracking :painting: before you start  :knuppel2: me and I have nowhere to  :run:

 ;D

The only thing that has been holding me back is that CP is a time consuming art form, which means it will not only take a long time to create the artwork / video, but even longer to edit and do all the back end stuff done.

In other words I doubt I will be able to do these classes as regularly as the other mediums. In other words if you guys are happy with getting CP classes on an inconsistent schedule, then I will start doing them

No pressure Nolan, but a little bit is better than nothing at all for in the interim periods, there are plenty of other lessons to do which would keep us out of mischief!!  Just a thought!!

Nolan, I can appreciate everything you say. I spent many hours yesterday working on a small CP painting, and am only 1/3 of the way through! I could have painted the entire thing in watercolor in that time! But anything you can offer us would be appreciated. I'll bet you have to do some fast-forwarding with your video class.

Yes, I would l enjoy a colored pencil class. I am almost at the end of "Let's Draw" and am looking at what classes I want to try next. I've inherented a bunch of my Mom's water color pencils as well as some Prismacolor pencils. It would be fun to experiment with them.
