What a lovely story Dennis!...glad you followed your instinct.

Like everyone says the atmosphere created by Dennis and Nolan is the key success of the PB story.Their caring nature and generosity shines through!Nobody is afraid to make mistakes...because we know help is just round the corner! And their motto ..no questions is  too small!
With Val's sense of humor and encouraging comments ,Mea with her keen eye and support...And all the othe wonderful members ...PB is the best place on the Internet.

So thank You all who work on the scene and behind the scene ..to make us feel proud, to be the member  of the Paint Basket family!

:thankyou: Nolan, Dennis, Val, Mea and all those that constantly give encouragement, feedback and support. I love that even when life gets in the way as it seems to be lately, I find it easy just to slip back into the "Family" and I absolutely love and appreciate the wonderful people in the Paint Basket Family

Merry Christmas and a happy and artistic New Year  :smitten: :smitten: :flowers:
Aroha! Lisa :-)

Oh! Val, without you and your hilarious sense of humour, life would not be quite the same. You are so much part of our PB family. We understand too, that your hit and miss spotty internet is unavoidable and we are just so grateful for all you do to make our site even more exciting.  So a big  :thankyou:  is in order from us to you, Dennis and Nolan.

Patricia

I totally agree with you on this Patricia. Dennis and Nolan are unique in there care for their art family. You can tell that if you met them as strangers in the street, you'd know they are kind people. It even shows on their faces. The world would be such a better place if there were more like them.  As for Val, she really does excel and add a dimension to PB that's become part of its foundations. She's a pillar of support, inspirational, funny, determined, consistent, supportive, encouraging and someone we can take for granted yet, she'd be missed terribly.
The members are really like a family. Quite astonishing how so many people can get on so well. I've been on forums and websites where a pecking order is apparent and, the forum sharks (as I call them) dominate and become know-all ridiculers. Yep, I soon leave these sites! So well done everyone and, esp to Dennis and Nolan who've set the tone and hone a calm environment conducive to support, inspiration and encouragement.

Yes Tony.
And kindness is very contageous... if we were all more considerate where we live, we would inspired others to be.  And make the World into a better place... one person at the time.

Think:  if each of us would influence 2 persons to show kindness, and so on and so on... It would only take 33 iterations to reach every single persons on this planet.

Maybe utopic, but I like to dream and no harm in trying.  It is not impossible, just maybe unlikely.
Cheers, Annie

There is also the Gospel song:
We are heirs with the Father
We are joint heirs with the Son
We are family of the kingdom
We are family, we are one
