After half an hour of trying I give up. According to the instructions "how to add your foto to a post" I should look for the code that says BBC Embed code. Where ? There is an icon that when I point with the mouse says "insert image". I click on it and this appears: , what that means ? Maybe the image has to be taken from my own album and not from other sources so I started an album and inserted a coupule of pictures but also this did not help. At the bottom of this page there is an icon with a cross + "Attachments and other options" but when I click it all it says is Notify me of replies  or Don't use smileys or Return to this topic.
I pointed with the mouse at every single icon (there are more than 80 including the smileys) but I could not find a code that says BBC Embed Code.
I am sure i am doing something wrong, please tell me where.
Thanks gisco

Ciao a tutti Gisco

You have to copy your BBC embed code from inside your album

Directly after you upload your photo the system shows it to you.

Below the image you will find a box with your BBC embed code.

As your images are now already uploaded, go to your gallery by clicking the
icon in the top orange box, then select the correct gallery
then click the text heading / name of the image.

This will bring up the same info as it did directly after you uploaded your photo. So you will then see your BBC embed code.

You want to copy that, then go to or create the topic in the correct place in the forum.

With your text typed out, paste in the BBC code in the place where you want the photo to appear O0

It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you have done it a few times it is not so bad

You are almost there, gisco.
1. You can only post pictures that you have uploaded to your gallery.
2. To find the BBC embed code you must click on the NAME of the file - not the picture.
3. Scroll down until you see the BBC embed code.
Copy the code and paste it in the post you are making.

Gisco,

I just got home from shopping and saw your plea for help, but see that a few others have already come to your aid.

It's times like this when the PB members all wished they lived next door to each other to help out in person.

Look forward to seeing your work soon.

Thanks for the help ! Finally I was able to post the picture of my very poor first try at oil pastel.
Used to copy and paste the system used here seem to me a bit "macchinoso".
Let us see if I got it right :
first of all we cannot post an immage directly from a file but first we must copy it in oue album with a name.
We click on the album icon, then on the album name, then on "add an item to this album", the window Aeva Media opens, we name it, choose a picture from a file, submit, back to the album and there is the picture.
Cliking on the name we get the BBC code to be used for the actual loading in the post.
We open a new topic, give it a subject name, write watever we want and paste the code where we want the picture to be. Easy when you know how to do it.

New questions (tell me when to stop) : it happen that an imported immage appears upside-down in the album. Any way to rotate it ? do I have to import it upside-down in order to have it right in the album?
By placing all the immages I want in a single file can I import them in the album all at once ? Tried the "mass upload" but it does not seems to work.
Thanks again for the help, hope I am not bothering you too much, ciao gisco

Mass upload works as follows.
Click on mass upload.
1. Click on <select>
2. Select the photos you want to upload.
3. Click on <upload>
When they have loaded

4. Click on <submit>

Gisco,

I admire your perseverance.  After you have done it a few times, it will come easy.

Hang in there.  We don't mind your questions at all.  Remember, we had to learn all this, too.
