HI
I am Tessa.
I have just started to learn to paint as i have retired from work.  I have been viewing lots of You-Tube videos and came across Paintbasket which i found very informative.
Painted the strawberry from the free tutorial which was very easy to follow and i think my painting turned out ok.

So happy you found us at Paintbasket.  There's great instruction here and friendly members to encourage you.

Nice job on the strawberrry. It looks juicy and delicious.

Send us more paintings!

:thankyou:Mea, Val and Nolan for your kind words. Sorry i didn't respond earlier as i didn't see these messages until today.

I have bought 2 lessons so far. The teddy bear painting tutorial was very good and having the ability to stop and start and go back to check on details is wonderful.

I didn't know i had the ability to paint until a short time ago. My sister who passed away in 2005 was a wonderful artist and very talented so in some way i think she is guiding me. Some day i hope I may be able to paint like her.

Tessa, your strawberry looks good enough to eat!  O0
I can relate to your connection to your sister.  My Mother was an amazing artist too. I've watched her draw, paint, and sculpt all my life. Now that I have begun drawing, I feel this renewed connection with her.  How special for us that we can feel that connection with our loved ones through our art.   :painting:
