Hi
My name is Dorothy Henderson and I am 64 years old.  I have drawn pictures as long as I have been able to pick up a pencil.  Year before last, I decided I would try painting.  I paint in acrylics because they are easier for me.  I look at videos and find any information that will help me get better with my painting.  I have created many beautiful pictures but I am seeking advice to help me do better.  I have attached a few of my paintings here.

Dear Dortwell;

You have come to the right place at Paint Baskets.   There are plenty of
lessons on Acylics and members to give you tip/hints and encouragement.
If you need help posting your artwork try viewing Nolan's tutorial.  If you
still have any difficulty ask and one of the members will help.   Most of us have
needed help posting in the beginning, "so don't be shy" (Nolan and Dennis' quote)  :gl2:

Dear Dortwell;

I forgot to mention that I can't see any of the artwork you
referred to in your last post.

 :bigwelcome: Greetings Dorothy  :wave:

I can only repeat what has already been said... as it seems I'm always the last one to the dance of late!  :dance:    :2funny:

I look forward to seeing your works, and know you will thoroughly enjoy learning and working with our Clark Boys, they are absolutely the best!  :yippee:

Dorothy,

Glad I just saw this topic or I might never have gotten to welcome you properly.

So happy to have you join us.  We are an amiable lot who love art and love sharing our experiences with each other.

As Val says, those Clarks are super incredible instructors.  They made an artist out of me and I hated art in school - no interest whatsoever.  Now I'd rather paint and draw than do most anything else.

Count on us to help you along.
