there you go Nina - it's mixed media so you can be creative with what you use. It doesn't have to be exactly what I have used. That is the beauty of it O0

Can't wait to gather all items needed and get started. I have a very temperamental colon and it has flared up again. Can't even get up and down the stairs. Hope antibiotic gets to work!!!   :-\ :-\ :tickedoff:

Hi Sherri, Hope you feel better soon and your VIP membership now has to go to the new site Artonline.  You can read all about it in the "How To" section at the bottom of the log in page on this PB site.  Hope it helps.

Does anyone know how to flip this picture. It was right side up when I put it on. Then it to to the side.  :tickedoff:

Well anyway I did it.   :yippee: Comments welcome.

Nina  :flowers:

Ps. I did fine the same compound that Nolan used. Just under a different name. I found it at Menards here in the States. It is called MH Ready Patch. Hope this helps. Oh Cost under $10.00 for a quart.

Nina,

The sunflower petals are gorgeous - look like satin ribbon raised off the paper.  I am going to go look at the directions for this because I want to understand how you did that.

As for why it flipped, not a clue.  But, I did hear once that if the file is too large, it flips.

awesome job Nina, love it :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

The flipping has something to do with taking a pic on your phone. The forum software was designed before the days of smart phones

   Nina, outstanding piece of work.  I can't wait to get to try this mixed media out but have to wait until April when it comes to the AOL site.  In the interim, I am so enjoying watching everyone's work and making notes of what works etc.

Thanks Mea and Patricia. Nolan you are funny. I don't have a smart phone I used a camera. I have never had this problem before. When I put it on here it was right side up. Just weird. I did enjoy the lesson. I did mine on masonite board. The sky is the limit on using that ready patch. It will be fun to play with. ;D

I thoroughly enjoyed the process of this project! Mine is very small, just 5"x5".

Everyone's sunflower looks great! Here's mine...

    Denise, your sunflower is absolutely STUNNING!!  One would never guess that it was so small, I could imagine a huge one hanging on the wall.  Great job for sure.

I forgot to add that I love your new avatar too.

Wow, Denise, your sunflower is fantastic.

Now I really have to try this lesson.

Yup, nice avatar.  Wish you had used that two years ago when I was trying to figure out which person you were when people were entering Uncle's!  We need to go there agin.  Liz, too.
