Patricia,

You did beautiful work on the shells.

Cyril, thank for mentioning mine, too.

Patricia and I can open a shell shop!

:thankyou: :thankyou: :thankyou:  Thank you Cyril, Kathy and Mea for your lovely comments.

Mea, if we had to open a Shell Shop I would be Shell 'shocked' ... I struggled with the shells partly because I have to do my art in the evenings with poor light and my eyes ain't what they used to be. The side light on my work place was casting shadows so it was pretty difficult for me. Nevertheless, I got it done and am pleased to have completed it.

Doesn't seem that poor light and failing eye sight hampered you much.  Those shells look very good.  You made those cracks (imperfections???) look so real.

Ginger.

The more I think about it - those trees can look any way they - or you - want them to look.  It's either NATURE or ARTISTIC LICENSE.

Nice work, Ryan.

Having done this one, too, I realize how hard it is, so I can appreciate all the work you did on it.

You must be excited about your vacation time.  Enjoy!

Ryan,

The changes you made make the sand look more realistic.  I really had trouble with the sand on mine.

Keep us the good work.

Ryan really liked the sand in yours and Patricia's sketches Mea. As usual though, he wanted a different effect  and I think he's happy with the result.

Jen, please thank Ryan for his comments about the sand in my drawing and as I mentioned in a previous post, he has such potential which should be exploited. Wanting a different effect is wonderful for he is letting his creativity have free reign and being happy with his results is the pay off. Great stuff.
