I finally took Nolan's advice about the importance of a distinctive signature.  Have wrestled with it for a while and finally came up with something.

My last name is LONG.

How's this?

I'm always playing around with my signature too - haven't found my perfect one yet!! I like that you're trying to come up with one, too, but this looks like ONG sitting on directional signs.  I actually prefer your MAL...maybe embellish that?
Cheers,
Sharon

Mea, I like the ong sitting on the capital L, but not sure about the arrow.

sorry Mea, but this one looks too much like a maths equation to me which takes me way back to me study days. I like the concept, maybe play around with different L's?

Dear Mea;

I think the idea of using your last name is worth developing.

How about a scroll at each end instead of an arrow.
Using the first scroll (as use in the written M smybol in Mrs. )
at the begining and then incorporating  the end scroll into the 'G' .
The possibilities are endless.  (This would give it a sleigh look)

 Have fun, whatever you choose, I sure your art will be collected by many.
