Take your time with the berries, there is no rush to complete the course, but getting a good grip on the techniques in important  O0

This was a bit harder.  I am happy with it, but the veins in the top leaves (errr... The bottom leaves in the attached, not sure why these are getting flipped) could be thinner and I may work on that. I would never in my life have thought i could do this.

Hi Barry,   I took your berry's and flipped them!       :stress:

Barry, excellent rendition of the berries.  Isn't this a fun course?

Thanks everyone for the feedback and support. Yes, this is fun! I do fear that it may consume to much time but, for now i think this is a great course and i will be plugging on! Off to labor in the rocks.

This was a much harder project. I came close to ripping the paprer up and starting over, and even thought about ripping the paper up and skipping this project and jumping to the next. However I did learn a lot, and the difference between this drawing and the reference drawing is not being creative or artistic, but instead trying to correct for the many mistakes I made along the way. It was frustrating and I once thought that I never wanted to see rocks again! Although not a great piece I'm happy with it and glad I finished.

:heeha: Yay Barry!!! This is a great piece.  O0 You have succeeded in showing the planes of the rocks very well.... and that was the main focus of this lesson. You aced it!  :yippee: Well done!

Now stop being so critical of yourself!  :knuppel2: You're coming on famously.

Thanks for the encourgement everyone.

Here is the teddy bear. I'm seeing a common theme in that i hate what I'm doing at the beginning, since it does not look right, but then as time progresses, I find myself smiling as it takes form - and I'm always surprised at the end!

I have a new grandson, and would like to draw his name across the shirt of the teddy with his birthday under the name, frame it and give it as a present. Does anyone know how to go about that so that is looks part of the shirt? That must be an advanced subject. I guess i could practice on a copy.
