:smitten:  Zilpa and Val for your kindness and encouragement to children which they will never forget.

Just want to let you know that I follow this post very closely, even if I don't respond often, and that my heart swells happily with all you are doing.

Makes me happy to know you have found such a great, and so so successful, balance in your artist life.

Unlike that little girl, I would be trilled to be 25% as good... one day.

Cheers, Annie

:thankyou: everyone, I am having a great time. Not necessarily selling heaps but I am loving life. The encaustic paint prices here are astronomical, as I make my own, I am seriously thinking of selling it locally as it all seems to come from elsewhere at very high prices.

Oh, the rewards children bring into our lives with sharing.
Zilpa, I am sure that selling your own encaustic paints would also be a success.

Zilpa, as yet I know nothing about encaustic paints, but making and selling your own brand sounds like like a great idea, as long as you can make it pay, and you have the time to devote to it. Perhaps you will also be able to sell them online. The larger the market, the more likely your paints will be an economic proposition. Go enterprise! :gl2:

Aloha Zilpa,   :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: how wonderful to have found a love in your unique art work and a great joy in sharing your skills, especially with children!  I wish you lots more enjoyment and successful in your ‘late found’ venture, but you’re a spring chicken compared to me!  :) ~Liz

:thankyou: Cath, Linley, and Liz I am finding the more I give, the bigger the reward.
Annie, you are well and truly there. Your work is great and every bit as good.
