Lately I've been really getting into photography,  and It's quickly becoming a big hobbie for me.   I think having a thread for the art of photography would awesome!  And I'm not talking about the free reference photo sections,  I'm talking about like a thread for creating art with a camera,  like portraiture photography,  landscape photography,  Black and White photography,  and street photography etc.   And mabey later on down the road some classes for it.  Paint Basket is allready the best art community/website out there, and I think this would be a great addition to the allready perfect website.

Hi Zach,
What about you creates those Forum you suggested, under 'Anything Artsy'?   Just like there is a forum for digital art.   PB members would have a place to discuss photography and exchange tips and ideas.

I would also think that members may like a place to learn the basic (from other PB members) about taking good photo from their paintings.  I think many non-photographer's painting do struggles to present their paintings in the best light.

On that same line, some may like a place to see how others use digital tools to modify, create, merge, etc. to make good composition for painting.   Nolan does show examples in various lessons, but members could discuss more on a specific forum.

As for classes, you need to ask the Clarks... but this is Paint Basket.  It would be a major addition to add professional classes by a master photographer.
Cheers, Annie
