I hope that I am on the right route!

Enjoyed the exercise as much as the previous ones.

Feeling quite satisfied with progress! ::)

Elize,

Beautiful work on the glass.  Great gleam!!

Check the very left and right edges of the rim - they look like they come to a pointy angle rather than a smooth rounded arc.  Also, the bottom (foot?) needs a couple tiny tweaks to make it more circular.

I loved that lesson.  You did so well.

Thank you Mea, I see what you mean.  Can't tell why I did not see it in the first place!  I really appreciate the feedback!

PS - Each class has a thread already, so just reply to the existing one. That way all the drawings from each class stay together :flowers:

Kathy,

Do you realize you created an optical illusion like you see in magazines?  The top of the glass looks like it's facing down in one second - BLINK - now it's facing up.

Unless that was the intention, you'd need to shade either the top or the bottom of the rim differently.

Nice work - -- loved playing the blinking game.

Hee hee, Kathy.  I am playing the blinking game again.  It works everytime.  You should sell it to one of those magazines that prints optical illusions.

Here is my glass. Great lesson, Nolan. I would have never thought that most of the drawing would be erasing with a bit of shading. It will be interesting to incorporate into a still life drawing at some point.
