I thought I posted this message earlier, but it seems to have imploded in Cyberspace.

Nolan,

Wow, what a cute ladybug.

Yikes, my nemesis - waterdrops.  And, one even has a ladybug reflected in it.

Definitely need to get some work done so I can tackle this one.

 How did I end up in the oilies section?  ???   I was attracted by this exceptional waterdrop/ladybug painting!  :faint:   Nolan, you really need to tone things down! I've already found myself perusing the acrylic section....it is all soooo irresistable.  :-\ It's a wonderful painting and I am  :envy: envious of all you oilies out there. You are all going to have such an adventure painting this one. Can't wait to see your works!  :heeha:     :gl2:

Dennis, you must be so proud of our Nolan...I know I am and he is only illegally adopted by me!!!  :heeha:   A true testament to your teaching ability and no doubt endless patience...we are talking about Nolan after all!!!  ;)    ;D
Cheers, Val

  Dennis  :smitten:

Accomplished artist and teacher, mature, kind, wise man... and so much patience (and not only with Nolan  :) )

I cannot help wonder if his father's friends also described him (Dennis's father) as a   when he was encouraging young Dennis.  Usually one learn from somewhere.    O0  this mean we can learn  :1hug:

Nina,
Are you asking if the lesson is available?

You can watch it under 'animals' in the oil painting section.

I like the way Nolan moved the ladybug to improve the composition.

If this is not your question... sorry.

Louisa,

I love your little lady bug.  I was about to do it last night, but went to bed instead.

Raining today, so may give it a try.  I'm terrified of all the waterdrops, though.  But, I'm sure Nolan will give superb instructions and I will finally master them.
