Nice work on the fuschia drawing.  You did a nice job on drawing the flowers.  Those are not easy to do.

Not sure, but the top left leaf looks like it is facing us and the lower one looks like it is facing away.

If so, I thing the top one should be darker than the one facing away.  But, I'd wait for a more expert opinion before changing anything.

Well the top one is facing us, and was where the light hit :)

I guess I didn't look hard enough before I replied.  OK, then using that scenario, the one at the bottom middle should be more shaded because of so much around it.

Better get back to preparing my tax return before I get into trouble.

Let's see what others think.  Regardless the drawing is very good.

I agree on that one :) I guess it isn't sticking out as much as I wanted it to.

I think you have done a beautiful job, especially with the curling up of the petals :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

Hi Ann-Mari,
Just went thru your post. As everyone said, your drawing skills are wonderful.  Above all, I marvel at your ability to put good contrast and a large range of tonal values.  I thought I had a special struggle with this, but I now understand that this is something difficult to develop.

Many of us have found PB as a wonderful, affordable, and of highest quality art lessons.  And most importantly, it is highly time flexible... something you and baby must appreciate.   I surely do, as I had adapted this 28 day course into a 28 week course.

Cheers, Annie

 :thankyou: :)
I found it so much fun I think I propably did it in less than 28 days :p just couldn't stop :D always heard that I'm a fast learner especially if it is something I find interesting :) actually I have only been drawing for less than 2 months, before that I thought I only could draw stick figures, but always wanted to learn how to draw. So I tried to do a portrait just for fun and it turned out looking like the person I was drawing and then I found PB ! So happy I did !! I have learned so much and I recommend PB to all of my friends who like to draw :D
