I painted a little "Hope for Spring" while we are cocooning here in NC with snow and ice outside.

Thanks, Natalie. At first I thought I'd end up using gouache, and was quite pleased that I could do the snow entirely with negative painting--no masking and no gouache.

Oh, how pretty, Susan.  Sounds like you folks on the East Coast USA need all the hope you can get.

 :thankyou: very much!

Our (very long) driveway is still a skating rink. Ergo...I get to skip my normal routine and do more painting tomorrow!

Susan, what a delightful painting.  It's wonderful.  Makes you wanna suck in a nice, long breath.  Thank for some "Spring".

   Beautiful painting Susan and we too are very deep in snow not to mention the frigid temperatures which the weathermen said would feel like -40 with the wind chill factor. I feel so sorry for the animals, hardly seen any squirrels but every day I am feeding the birds and anything else that drops by.

Lovely painting Sue!  I feel for all you people who are snowed in.
