I like #5 but with your husband in the position of #1.  He looks to tall to me in notan 5.

I'm so glad to pass on the great help I've received from everyone here!
The planning of the painting is l believe way more than 50% of the whole.
Having the layout right sets the whole thing in your mind before you start and leaves the mind free to take care of tonal ranges, coloring, shading etc.
A little time spent there saves a lot of canvasses stacked up in the spare room where they c as by be seen!
