Great job, Natalie.  Your door is super and, wow....your rocks rock!!  Lovely!
I've done mine, too, n I really enjoyed it. Have to wait til my daughter comes with her phone camera.
I love your pic!!

 :thankyou: everyone.

Lisa there are a couple of companies that make an acrylic gel/paste with a grit substance. Golden is one (spendy).

I wanted to try sanded papers and boards, but I am far too cheap at this point to lay that kind of money down.
It's best when it is one layer and thin. You can have an under painting or drawing as well. Sometimes you get scratchy looking marks-it's part of the unknown.

The photo isn't quite right, but I think you'll get the general idea. Is there hope for this or will I just start again?  :-\ Can't decide.

Cheers, Val

It sure looks like you have everything in place and ready to go, Val.

Glad to see that those are little stones at the top right.  So Natalie's were correct, after all.

Wow, Natalie! Your stone work looks great!

Val, I am not sure what the problem is, because the colors in your stones is gorgeous! Can't wait to see it finished!

Dennis, if you say I'm still on...then on I shall go!  :knight:   ;D  Thank you much  ;)

Mea, actually Dennis' painting does have the large rocks down the side. I hadn't seen the photo until after I had printed and just added more rocks in to bring the wall to the edge....over eager?  ::)   :2funny:

Thanks much Bella, I often wonder how I managed to get you on my cheering team.... doesn't matter really, just nice knowing you are there. Thank you  :1hug:

Thanks Natalie, you're a resident booster!  :cheering:

Thanks Jill, much appreciated.

Robin, I shall endeavour to live up to your expectation....    ;D

C., I need some rose coloured glasses to see what you see!  ;)  I have to agree on the fact that it's definitely more colourful than the original... anything to stop fighting with that white pencil!  :crazy2:   ;D  Thanks much for your undying optimism.  :1hug:

Val, don't worry if it is not rock for rock, stone for stone, colour for colour: that's not the point. I am looking at techniques O0 :flowers:
