:thankyou: Mea and Robin - it's a bit overwhelming. I've been on the radio in the past because of my event planning background - but this is the first time for my art...It's very exciting!
Cheers,
Sharon

Just got home from the preview reception for my art show and it was great! Had about 40 attendees and I've now sold 11 pieces! Really glad I did this event before the big show on Saturday - I guess they're expecting 150-200 people.  A couple folks from tonight are contemplating which painting they want to buy - so hopefully there will be more sales this weekend. Now I'm home and the high heels are off and it's time to rest.
Cheers,
Sharon

Thanks, Val - someone is contemplating buying my Beach Chairs of Door County - which would be great since it's one of my largest and I'd love not to have to schlep that one home!
Cheers,
Sharon

How wonderful, Sharon, to have sold so many paintings before the show! You are only about an hour away from me and I love to get up there to see the show, but unfortunately my fibromyalgia has been in a flare and I'm not venturing out much these days. Maybe you could post some pictures of your show on this website for all of us to see, please? Wishing you the best of luck  :painting:

Thanks Mea, Robin, Sherri and Sue! And I agree Mea - I hate schlepping paintings home after a show - never enough space to hang them at home! Sue - so sorry about your fibromyalgia - I understand that's quite painful. Hopefully another time you can come by one of my shows - that would be amazing! And I'll definitely post photos after today's show - for now, here's one of me at the Preview Reception on Thursday, looking very nervous since the show was about to begin! (You can see the Crest, Sunrise Bridge and Tahoe paintings in the background!)

Cheers,
Sharon
