Last night's show was a HUGE success - and so much fun (and I had all of your support propping me up when I got nervous!!) About 250 people attended - Capital Public Radio said it was the most people they've ever had at one of their Second Saturday Art Shows! There was live music, wonderful food and wine and it was a gorgeous 74 degrees outside.I had the chance to address the audience for a few minutes to talk about my art, to promote the availability of prints for the paintings that had already sold, and to invite folks to ask me about painting THEIR vacation photos.  And then I sold another 5 pieces for a grand total of 16 for the show.

The most exciting sale was to our local Congressman Ami Bera, who was there with his wife, Janine. They purchased one of the limited edition giclee prints of my Sacramento Skyline painting that I did for Rotary last year. It will soon be hanging in his Washington DC apartment - what an honor!

Here are a few photos of the night - the first is the sign that greeted the guests, than one of my husband and me in front of his favorite painting, and one with my daughter in front of her favorite painting! I've also included one of the Congressman and his wife as well as a final photo with someone who purchased a giclee print of my painting of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Happy but exhausted today - will have to recharge and get back to work painting again.  And as always, there's no way any of this could have been possible without Paint Basket, Dennis, Nolan and all of you...thank you so much!
