You artists  :painting: may know this already, but in case you don't here's a tip.
When your stretched canvas is bouncy and it drives you crazy :tickedoff: , just spray the back with a light mist of water.
It is surprising how fast it tightens up--almost immediately.  :)

Never heard of that.
I like mine bouncy, but I put in all the stretchers, that little wooden things you put in the corners. Works perfect.

Nice for you to share Carol.  We won many new customers to our framing business when they came in with a painting they wanted restretched because of ripples and looseness.  We told them we'd try spraying the back first to see if that
worked first, and in many cases it did so they didn't have to pay for a re stretch.  :). Honesty always is a winner.
