Hi there all you wonderful artists! I found this website earlier today and immediately joined.   :D I feel like I hit the jackpot!  :smitten: I'm a quilter and looking to expand my skills with mixed media, watercolor paints and pencils  and this is the place to learn how I can incorporate them into my future quilts. I'm a bit chatty at times but love meeting new people, learning and sharing ideas. I'll see ya around, cause I want to go see what's happening here.

 H-e-l-l-o Anna!!!!  :bigwelcome:   Forgive me if I'm a bit 'punchy' today, as I have been up most of the night reading Nolan's ebook about all of the lovely mistakes I continually make in my artwork!!!  :2funny:
:offtopic: Just an aside here...but if any of you lot haven't read it yet...you really should!   :knuppel2: >:D :2funny:

So glad you found us here Anna, whatever you need, just ask and there will be someone about to lend a hand.  :deal: Be forewarned, we are a funloving bunch, but serious about our artwork and learning from our incredulous Clark boys. What a team!  :yippee: So come on, dip your toesies (toesies?) in and start slinging some water about! You are about to begin one of the most enjoyable phases of your life!  O0
Cheers, Val

Anita,

I see you have already been warmly welcomed by others in the earlier time zones.

You will love it here - everyone is friendly and helpful.  The lessons are "sew marvelous!"

Look forward to seeing your work.  Do you have a website where we can see your quilts?

Thank you, thank you! Everyone in the group is super friendly. I'm sure Dennis and Nolan are great at teaching as well. I do have a business website, I will post on my profile sometime next week when I update it. I recently closed my brick and mortar shop and brought it home.  While I loved having a quilt shop, it was extremely over-whelming at times for just one person! Anyway more about that in another email. Have a marvelous night and see ya tomorrow.  :gl:

Why put off until tomorrow  what you can do today.
