I love your tui.  Cute bird.  Nice background.

Not being familiar with pastels, not sure if there is too much white canvas showing around the perimeter of the things in the painting.

Excellent, Lisa :clap: :clap: :clap:  Mea's sharp eye has picked up the slight halo around the bird. Need to bring the background right up the edge of the bird.

After completing Dennis's Paint a small stream lesson in watercolours and pastels I thought I would give a pastels painting a try.  We have a lot of Tui's in the garden and I really liked both Dennis's photos and the paintings so far  :clap:

This lesson was a lot of fun  :)
