How long will it take to draw? My guess is @300 for both if framed. How could you justify less than $160 for both otherwise? USD

I looked at your other postings. You are good enough to charge 15 dollars per hour, 2x the frame price or at least  $.50 per Sq inch. Personally I would double those numbers and not go below the above figures.

Imho, i would let the client decide if they want to buy your art framed or not.  In my line of work as a picture framer, that the framing can out cost the price of the art.  It depends on the buyer.
Does the buyer want to conserve the art, what quality of framing supplies do they desire.  Conservation mats and conservation glass alone will cost more then the $160usd price for 2 paintings.  Now lets add a frame $$$.  Judging on the size of the art, the average price for a complete quality conservation framing job is about $200usd per each framed piece.  This is considering you are using quality products and not junk.

She wants it blocked. I just wanted to know an aprox price for my work, if there is anything additional like framing, blocking etc, that is an additional cost.

Sounds interesting Maryna. I hope you manage to settle on a good price that rewards your hard work/skill properly. Never undersell yourself.

Best advice you can get. I gave the same advice to an artist I met in Trinidad and ended up paying almost double for a painting for Lloyd one christmas!!!  Should have bought the painting first!   :2funny:

I had to go with my gut in the end. The client ended up paying me a little more than what I charged ;D (A little bonus)
