"At Peace Under The Trees,"  this is pencil art, combining some of the tools given us in the drawing course.  Note the little figure under the trees, animal is the distance, birds in the sky, a cloud and the sun in the upper left.

If I may, this is homage to the excellent tutelage of Nolan.

I'm currently view the DVD, Acrylic Painting Course, by Bob and I will post a painting as soon as I've completed one.

Thanks to my many firends, here, who have commented on my art postings.  I take what you say, whether is be encouragement, suggestions, or just praise; take it to heart and build on my  drawing skills.

We have so many gifted artists here, it is real encouraging to see what you say, of those ,of us just staring.  To those just starting the course, you couldn't be in better hands. And REMEMBER, practice, practice, practice is the key to your improving.

good improvement Tom, you are starting to get nice depth in the trees now.

What you can do next time is leave place for the birds to fly through, see my lesson in the newsletter HERE
