Beautiful rose Mea!!! I know you mentioned having a hard time mixing your greens, but they look great! Different shades of green but all look lovely together.....

Thanks, Lynn and Retta.  I love to do roses to honor my mother.  Her maiden name was ROSE and she loved the flower.

You are getting beter all the time, Mea.   Well done, i too like the shine of the leaves.  The rose is lovely, one thing is the dark line under the petal where white meats dark on the edge. Since the petal curl is white the dark line should be soften as it is the shadow of the bottom petal.   Hope this makes sence to you.

Thanks, Danielle.

I agree that spot looks odd.  I honestly was afraid to do anything with it because I just did not understand what that bottom petal was trying to do.

I see now what you mean.  Thanks for your help.

O0 not just one Mea, check all your hard lines under the white of the petals.

Never used water colours before. The paintings done in watercolour looks really beautiful, is it difficult to use?

No not difficult, and in my opinion so much easier to clean.  Give it a try
