Stunning Denise.
Reminds me of work by Anna Mason.

The Lesson are not released all at once. They are released one a week from the time you bought the Course. That is why some have while others still have to get theirs.

Dear Dennis;
The Fuchsia and Foxglove classes do show up on my list
but, "The Rose" doesn't. I'll check back again later today or
tomorrow.
P.S. The Fuchsia is still keeping me busy!!!

This was a great lesson. Thanks, Dennis. I think I pressed "Back 30 seconds" about 100 times.
Details
I am pleased with the result on the rose itself, but I had trouble mixing the colors for the leaves. None of them seemed to be the same color.
I also had trouble trying to hide my tracing lines. Next time I will use waxed paper to trace so I can place it over the painting to be sure that my lines are in the right place.
I value your thoughts, so please critique. Oh, the painting was too big for my scanner, so the leaves on the left got partially cut off.

Mea, you have done a beautiful job on the shading of the rose itself
I also like your leaves and they have a certain amount of "shine" on them as well. The leaves are not supposed to be all the same colour. Look at nature and see just how many colours and variations there are in a single tree or bush. A rose bush is no exception - varies from light green to a very reddish colour! Varied greens take the monotony away.

Thanks, everyone. I really enjoyed this one.
Dennis, I tried using the water brush (Koi - round #2). I can see that I will need to practice more with it. Do you plan on making a tutorial for using the watercolor brush? Or can you recommend one?
For anyone who did not buy the advanced flower course, tell Santa to get it for you. I will use the paintings from it for gifts. All my friends want them.
