Here is my contribution.  I won't enumerate the gazillion mistakes I made on this.  Finally just decided to stop before I wore a hole in the paper.  Yikes this was a challenge.  Learning so much Dennis.  A big  :thankyou:

Lynn,

Beautiful foxgloves, just beautiful.  I have been putting this off because it looks so challenging.

I hope mine will look half as good as yours.

Dear Lynn p.

Love your foxgloves!  I am still practising on the fuchsia.

I noticed a slight pink background; did you put a
light wash on it or did you use pink tinted stock paper?

I love it as it adds a soft/serene feeling to the piece.    :painting:

Thanks so much Bellarina, yes it was a challenge for me.  I started off with a drawing that was not quite right as I struggled with the leaf shapes, deciding what to paint versus what was really background in the pic.  Then later, I picked up the wrong color of red  accidentally (pencil) and just couldn't lift it off, etc.  Glad you like the outcome.
Yes Mea, I almost skipped this one and went straight to the rose but maybe I'll have more practice under my belt for it now   Thanks for your kind words, I know yours will be great.
Thanks May Lynn.  No wash over the paper.  It's just my camera.  I do have some of those tinted papers though and wondered about them.  Mine are very small however.
Thanks Dennis and Susan.  This is a great class Dennis.

Wow!!  That's a keeper, for sure!  Beautiful Lynn.  All your hard work and frustration sure paid off.  It's so lovely.

I had to pop in to see what all this Foxglove business was about. I'm glad I did because, Dennis has been teaching you lot too well! Danielle! your painting is quite something. Professional looking and detailed. Well done
Lynn, I love how you've done a smashing job of your Foxglove too. It was worth all the effort. Well done
