Wow, Ryan.  You have really done well with the pen and ink on this eagle.

You have made an "angry" bird!

Great work.

:thankyou: for the encouraging comments! We are both really happy with the way these classes teach techniques which will help in creating all future artwork. I think it is so important to develop these abilities   O0

Here is my attempt at the Golden Eagle.

I've really enjoyed going through the posts and seeing everyone's eagles.  What amazes me is how even though we followed the same class, how everybody's eagle has its own personality.  What was really interesting was how each person did the beak and the eye just a little different with shading to make each Eagle look unique by each artist.

Any feedback to fine tune my drawing  is appreciated.

Forgot to mention that I tried to stick to using a nib and ink for the entire picture.  I used a .3 pen a few times but for the most part I tried to only use the nib with a reservoir.  It was my first attempt using a nib instead of a pen.  I enjoyed it and liked having to slow down to dip my nib every little bit so I wouldn't rush my drawing.  Sometimes I start to rush and that is when I start to make mistakes in my drawings.

Looks good to me, Clivus. Maybe a bit darker where the feathers overlap to help define them more.

   Great job Clivus.  I too, am always amazed at people drawing the same picture but each has its own personality.  Probably a good thing!

Way to go, Clivus.  I'm terrified at the thought of doing pen and ink.

You did well.
