This is the result of today's trip. I am happy to say I have found a framing shop I am happy with and am hoping to build a great relationship with for a long time to come. I made the call yesterday inquiring about getting this painting framed for a potential customer and I was more than happy with the result.
As it turned out the person did not want to pay my price but he did me a favour as I now have a picture framer willing to give me great service and discount for regular work and he also will provide me with professional canvas boards and stretched canvas which he prepares at a reasonable price.

Beautifull painting Zilpa, sorry the person did not purchase it.  But let it be known it is very very nice.
Pourquoi remettre à plus tard ce qu'on peut faire aujourd'hui?
Why put off until tomorrow  what you can do today.

Frame and painting look very good.

Nice to know you have a framer to work with.

The perfect frame for a great painting - and the right collector will come along very soon I bet! Good for you for finding a framer that's willing to work with you...I have two and it saves me so much money and looks much more professional than framing myself...

:thankyou: Daniella, Mea, Sharon and Nina. I think me actually getting out and finding a framer to work with was far more important than this particular sale in the long run. I live out in a small country town and I only have to drive 30klm to see him which is great.
