Lisa,  excellent work on the sand dunes.  Your grasses are very well done as are the footprints.  I found this much more difficult than it looks.

Vidar

Good work on this.  Try adding a few more wisps of grass to add extra texture.

Not sure, but the horizon line seems to dip quite low behind the plants on the left.  Might want to chek your horizon line with a ruler.

All in all - good job.

You must be proud of this Vidar, it looks great.   Those footprints tell of a lot of happy memories after a happy day at the beach. Brings back childhood memories of visits to my grandparents place  :) :flowers:

Hi everyone. I have finally found time to stop in and see how this drawing is going. I started on mine and had difficulty with the sand dunes. Nolan stated that he was going to try and put a class together for this. Does anyone know if he did and if so, which class is it?  Hoping to get the time to finish this one and start another.

Vidar this is excellent,  the foot steps in the sand was the hardest part and you did great  :yippee:

Gpeachy,  I did not see an other class on the sand.  What you should is go back to the class and review it a few times it helps to get it.   I had trouble with this one too.  Hope this will help.

That is a great idea. It has been awhile since I have viewed it. Who knows maybe it will be clear as sand this time.  :yippee:

I did answer the question in one of the live classes, but have not edited the actual segment out yet. Here is the raw replay of the live class. The part you are interested in is at around 17 minutes and 33 seconds in:
