Tropical storm passed us by, just a bit of nasty winds and rain. Islands north of us got a bit of a beating, became Hurricane Irene up by Puerto Rico. The small low lying islands of Turks & Caicos and the Bahamas will take quite a battering as she is now category 2 and expected to make category 3 by top end of Bahamas.

How lovely it was to listen to the radio interview you had posted!  As a South African trying to emmigrate, it was interesting to find out about your other site and it was also a warming feeling to hear the afrikaans voice and know that it streams from somewhere accross the waters - it makes the whole journey a little less scary, and I guess that is what your site is also about.  Great going Nolan!  Keep it up!

Sorry, I'm only now seeing the shortcut to my old posts (blonde!) so I'm not sure if answering is still relevant...  We are trying to get into Oz Nolan.  Will take us a while to save up for the Visa first though - catch 22 you know - you need a visa to get a job there and you can't get a Visa without a job, thus the only way is to buy the Visa unsupported, and prices have escalated...  Not losing faith though!   O0

:thankyou: Dennis, I am taking the Learn To Draw Course.

:2funny: For someone who doesn't have any drawing talents.  Started around 1st of April and I think I am learning some tricks of the trade.

I just finished my horse and had some questions about his neck.  I put in on the forum, but did not address it to Nolan, I guess he will se it.  Working on day 22 now, kinda lost. ::)

Nolan and Dennis.. Just listened to your radio interview and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I was not aware of your site on immigration.  How wonderful!  You two deserve a big  :1hug:

Dear Nolan and Dennis:
I enjoyed the radio interview you gave to 104.6.  Thank you for
the onscreen translation.  Have you given any additional up-to-date
interviews?   If so, I hope you can post them.

Noaln,
That is cool, radio is fun. I know Johny C he owns Rag FM in Raglan, NZ. I use too produce a radio show for him. I was the writer, producer, and I did most of the voices for the show. I think it's kind of funny I use to do radio with him and then I found PB just by searching for some tips on painting. Because I haven't done it in years.  NZ seems to be good luck for me :)

I know you produce a lot of videos, but you can also produce some Podcast and release them as well. You never know who will play them on their station. I would recommend releasing them under Creative Commons and allow anyone to air them, If you produce any.
