Well you could use the back side of the touch but the front side is much nicer.   I wasn't very clear lol but I was referring to regular paper, where one side is textured and the other smoother.  I always use the smooth side.  I like the way the finished product looks better.  So you would think the touch would be too textured on the front but it isn't.  I'm still able to get a very smooth looking result on the front side.

Thank you Teresa.  Chloe on the left is just too cute for words and always into everything. Nala is quieter and likes to snuggle.  And they are inseparable.

Calabash wetlands.   I just wanted to try something without including a lot of detail.   I used my inexpensive pastels and paper and it only took about 45 minutes.  I did this off of a photo I took this spring.

Thank you Patricia, you are always so kind.   Your pastels are beautiful!  The pug painting you did was fantastic.  His fur looked so soft , I thought I might try that class next.

Lisa another good painting.
I tried pastels once and found them too messy.

So true Teresa.   Sometimes it's a lot like finger painting  :2funny:   And sometimes a little dusty .  But cleanup is pretty easy!

:thankyou:  Lisa for your sweet comments on my pug.  I would highly recommend that you do that one next for it was so interesting and I found it most enjoyable.  You will do very well with it.

Lovely vista Lisa. I can imagine sitting at the end of that dock and just enjoying the moment. The breeze ruffling the tops of the reeds, just makes me take a deep breath and relax.

Very well done.  O0
