Liz,

I bought a retractable at Fisher Hawaii on Cooke St.  It's a Pentel Clic Eraser ZE22.  I'm pretty sure it was quite inexpensive.  I keep it in my sketching kit I take on the bus.  It works well for big erasure,  I carry a kneadable one too for pinpoint stuff.

Thanks Val and Mary Anne, I'll check out Fisher-Hawaii for that eraser and acrylic paints are 40 percent off right now, too.

the retractable erasers are nice, but I can do the same work with my normal eraser by cutting it at an angle as you see me do in the classes O0

Thanks, Nolan, I remember you cutting your eraser and it working well for you!

Anyway I found a retractable Paper Mate TUFF STUFF ERASER STICK, made in Japan.  It cost $1.89 and does clean, thin lines so I'll try the Breaking Wave again!

Nice "Breaking Waves,"  Liz.

Did you get the pen at Fisher?  In the eraser aisle, or the art supplies section?

Hawaiian Graphics has a big sale from now Aug. 25-Sept. 6.  Need a new sketch pad for the bus.

Go for it, Bev!  Take your time, no big hurry building up your wave and playing around with the splashes and white foam.. . You can do it!!!  :cheering:

Good for you, Bev.  You kept at it.  Looks very challenging; no wonder I haven't tried it yet.  But I have an excuse, I don't have an eraser up to the challenge.
