Fiona, a lovely painting with an excellent sunlit area :clap: :clap: :clap:
Unfortunately you have a problem with the shadows of the trees. The sun is to the left of the painting so all shadows MUST point away from it. The tree on the right will not have shadows across the path as you have shown. You will have to remove those shadows.
Another point to remember that shadows also follow the profile of the ground. The shadows of the left trees will slope downwards along the embankment as you have it - but will turn to horizontal across the path. Fix the shadows up and you will have a wonderful painting O0
Please post a new photo up of the corrections so that I see if you have done them properly. Don't delete your original painting.
