Nice job, Annie.  really textured mountains - good for you.

Worried that the spit of land at the bottom left seems to be floating.  Not sure how best to anchor it, though.

Thank you both for your reply.

I adjusted the water... but as Mea pointed out, the tip of the land seems to still hang above the water.  Is it the curve at the point that gives that impression?  Thanks

I think the line of the shore is too solid. If you can soften it a bit along the water side so that it merges with the darker water colour you'll have it made. I hope that makes sense.

Sorry,  I gave you a fright Val.  I appreciated your comments very much, as well as yours Mea.   If it had been oil, I would have give them a try immediately, but WC are still tricky to correct for me.  I need to think it over for a while first.
