I have taken a brief sabbatical from Acrylic, to get back to my carving. 3D is much easier, just remove what doesn't look right.
Anyway here is my sprinter breaking the tape. Carved from a solid block of walnut (except  for the ribbon). Aproximately 3" x 6" x 8"

 :clap: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: GREAT WOOD CARVING, ALAN!  Your sprinter shows good form and real physical exertion!   Nice to work in 3 D; years ago I enjoyed sculpting with clay.  It was mostly play dough with my grandchildren!  :)
