So far I have not joined any of the live classes.  I plan on joining the next pencil class.  I have looked to see what I need (software, etc) for the live classes so that I will be prepared before the class begins.  Is there a section on how the live classes are conducted and what I need?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Sherri

Dear Deason;

The live classes have been suspended for the last few months and
replace with weekly releases.  The release date, time, and topics are
posted on the PB Home page.  Go to the top of the forum page and
hit the HOME (under the basket) and this will take you there.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see time
clock counting  down under the up and coming classes to be released.

I hope this helps!

I dearly miss the live classes.......any word on when or if they will be happening again?  I hope all is well with everyone.

Laurie,  although we all LOVED the live classes, I think it became too much to try to do every medium in that format! Especially, since some of the classes look longer than two hours. I think the recorded lessons is what will be offered from now on.

the live classes were simply too time consuming for us so we ended up spending all our time working in the business and not enough time working on the business. The other issue was that the students were becoming too advanced for the artworks we were able to do inside the 2 hour time frame.  :-\

I like your new approach with the recorded classes.  Seems to be a lot less distraction and going off subjest.

Yes Robin I like it too. I won't be able to paint along in any case, I am definitely too slow.

Ah Louisa, nothing wrong with only getting halfway through...... I sometimes got left behind at the masking fluid!  :heeha:     :2funny:

They were great fun.  :yippee:            :smart:    :painting:       =       :D     :faint:

I agree, Robin and Louisa.

I had a hard time paying attention to the instructor and wanting to chat.  Multi-tasking in this case is not a good idea.  I don't think the "accidents" would be happy ones.

Agree with the comments and I am like Val - Dennis and Nolan leave me behind.  I like to watch the lessons and then paint them.  That way I have an idea of how the lesson is going to progress.
