It is with heavy heart that I must leave     .... pastels!

:heeha: HAH! You honestly didn't think you'd get rid of me that easy did you?    :nono:      :2funny:

However, it has become ever more clear that I must let go of something.
w/c much like seawater flows through these veins, we are inseparable. The drawing is the foundation and building blocks which allows me to attain higher and higher levels of competence, plus I am finding new avenues with which to build my abilities.

I may in future times be able to pick up with pastels again; once time, monies, and product availability become easier to access. So I bid you adieu, but ..... I'll be watching you!

Thank you Dennis for an awe inspiring peek into the world of pastels. Positively brilliant!  :-*

:heeha: You got me there Bman!!!  :2funny:   I eat 'em, and I paint 'em... although the painted ones are usually unintentional. After seeing all of your macro flowers... I'm considering a series of ... you guessed it, cauliflowers! With my luck I won't be able to make one just because I want to!  :2funny:

I LOVE IT, VAL!  THE BIGGEST SCARE, THAT IS!!! :flowers: :flowers: :flowers:
I somewhat understand where you're coming from, like sometimes we have to make certain decisions, even about our art!  My preference is drawing more animals and doing more acrylic painting.  That's about all I can handle right now.  Emily loves pastels so I gave them all to her to take home!  Her album in my gallery has some of her pastels and water color.

Talk about a heart attack Val .... you scared the living daylights out of us!!!       Anyhow, as I mentioned in another post that I quite understand where you are coming from and I guess, it is the same with many of us who are in the same  :boat: .  I too, will just have to concentrate on my current interests only for the time being.

Oh you guys..... you're the best!  It's a good thing the net went down.... I was struggling to keep away! I am starting to get focused and get things moving, something I've needed to do for some time. I've got a lot to learn, and so much more to see and do before the darkness comes.  8)
