I have been following the pencil portrait drawing and doing bits of this face. The original black and white is a bit short of detail. Help please. What can I do to improve this?

Karen it is a magnificent drawing, very well drawn.   :smart:    the only thing I would change is the highlight at the bottom of the right eye it is getting lost in the bottom of the eyelid.    That is only my opinion. That is at the right side of the drawing.

Thanks Musika for putting the image on. I didn't even notice I hadn't pasted it. Danielle, I will try to darken the eye a little to make the highlight stand out more.

Karen I think you did a great job.   I agree with Danielle about the eye. Is there anyway we can see the original photo.

I have added the photo Nina. There is more drama in the high contrast in the photo but it's quite hard to see all the details.

Karen your picture is not on your post, i think it is the coding you put in that is not correct.  When you put your photo in your site and saved it scrole down and under the bigger picture you will have a code, copy it all.  Myself i have to enter it by hand has the copy does not work.  It should show like this [smg id= your # and no space after the equal sign]
. Hope i am not confusing you.

Thanks for putting this on Danielle. I don't know what happened here. I pasted in the reference to the image as I normally do but  it hasn't worked and I didn't check afterwards.

Karen this is so well done  :yippee:  there is only one thing that I can see and that is,as the others have said, the right eye, the highlight, in my opinion, is too big perhaps make it a little smaller where it goes into the eye? other than that this is fantastic work

Looks fabulous Karen. What I am seeing with the eye, (via my big magnifier  :detective: ) is the bottom eyelid curves down a bit too low. Just needs to be straightened out/lifted a bit and it'll be perfect!  O0

Well done.  :yippee:
Cheers, Val
