You are getting so good, girl.  Love the rose.  The center of your rose (to me, the hardest part to do) is just beautifully done. (no hog snout there!)

 I will keep using the mapping pen as I find it so much fun (old school as some may say...hahaha) and with much more practice I may get it flowing a little smoother   :)

As mentioned in the fighter jet thread, we've returned to using paintbasket for our homeschooling art. Rachel chose to do the rose first so Ryan chose the fighter jet this week. Rachel has always been interested in art and this is a great opportunity for her to learn various techniques. They're both teenagers. They used black biros for this - I need to invest in proper tools for Rachel in particular!
