exactly what Val said! :D I am so glad you posted this so we could let you know that your efforts have paid off! It is easy to see that you had done a banner job with Mr. Eagle - just a bit heavy on the crosshatching at the end! :1hug:   :clap: :clap: :clap:

Had you not called attention to the part you think was bad, I would have just thought they were darker or shaded feathers.  Looks fine, really.

Everyone is so kind but I'm really glad I've taken the time to redo this Eagle - I'm so much happier now and learned a lot doing it twice! Now I can go on to the next lesson with a clear conscious!

Finally got Ryan's eagle photographed the right way up, lol. The challenges of technology! I think he's taking to the pen and ink well although he still prefers graphite 8)
